Lizzie is officially a talker. About a week ago she started calling out for Mikey. She said his name super clear, but it sounded like it took every ounce of strength in her to force her mouth into the right shapes to call out, "Miiiiiiikkkkkeeeeyyy!" So stinking cute. She says "natty," "more," and "mac" too. Oh, and she will sing along to the Yo Gabba Gabba Goodbye song. I love listening to her babble!
Natty has taken an interest in roller skating. She can often be found skating up and down our street, much to the amusement of the construction workers building the houses next door. She is a little wobbly still, so she takes out a stroller weighted down with laundry detergent with her. It's pretty adorable.
Mikey has spent the week at scout camp, where he has built a periscope, shot bb guns, shot arrows, launched eggs and gotten very dirty and tired. Chad went with him on Wednesday, and they both came home covered in mud from head to toe and exhausted. Could there possibly be a better way for a ten year old boy to spend his summer?!?
Monday marked the first day of our 30 day journey into the land of purely unprocessed foods. I started a blog over here to chronicle our adventures. Suffice it to say, I've spent the bulk of my days in the kitchen trying to keep everyone fed!!!
And that's what we've been up to!
