Heather, I hear you. We had a dog for about 3 weeks and I wanted to die. Thankfully (or not....) Noah broke his leg and things were so crazy I was able to convince Chance to sell it to someone else. Dogs are work! And they definitely do not smell as good as babies.

And are the start-up fees at LA Fitness really so high? I haven't checked yet and I want to join it so badly.

No, they do not smell like babies. But, they are at least as much work!

Tami met with the LA Fitness guys. She said the start up fees varied according to your plan, but they were all more than $100. I don't understand the whole "start up" fee thing. They aren't going to do anything differently if I join. They will have the same equipment, hours and services. If I pay a start up fee, I think I should get a piece of exercise equipment named in my honor...
